When Pop Rox formed in early 1999 each of the members had an incredible idea about a band that would stray from the norm of today's pseudo-grunge, teenage-angst  groups and put back a more upbeat, groove feel into music that was appealing to everyone. With that in mind Pop Rox has been able to produce sounds that are uncommon but hold true to the same standard that makes a song stick  --
It makes the foot move.

   Pop Rox has since played at a variety of venues like Club 369 in Fullerton, the Galaxy Concert Theatre in Santa Ana and the KB Club in Long Beach. Each time the shows were filled with energy and an explosive atmosphere that has built them into one of the prominent bands playing in Southern California. Angela's seductive stage presence and powerful voice is backed by the pounding sounds of electrifying music that make for nothing less than an experience and an audience that leaves the venue craving for more.  "Pop Rox is the next big thing to come out of Orange County," said Randy Cash, an influential club promoter in the area, to the audience while introducing them  at one of their shows.
He couldn't have been more right.

   The collective sound that has made Pop Rox so influential is made up of the individual characteristics of each of its members. Dave's endless desire to push the beat into a new directions, Peter's unusual yet melodic bass riffs, Jonas's passion for sounds that push and pull at the same time and Angela's riveting energy, her pure musicianship  -- all have come together to form a sound like nothing that has ever come out of an area. Each member has formed a creative atmosphere which has not only helped to make good music, but has made them good friends.

   Angela -   She has been in many bands including a guitarist in Grab Bag. She has studied at the Guitar Institute of Technology. She is a model and has been in acted in several movies. Jonas and Peter met her at a show and they immediately recognized how special she was and asked her to join with them. She has a phenomenal voice and looks that often times get boyfriends at shows in trouble. She has a knowlege of music and passion that is rivaled by none. Together it makes for a singer that wraps both the the musician and bystander into a groove with her unique style and uncanny sense of melody.
   Jonas - He has played guitar since he was 14 years old. He learned on his own, has traveled and played in Europe groups whose influence ranged from blues to punk to new age. After deciding early on that a musician's life might not be what he wanted, he studied the recording arts at a well known university and opened his own recording studio, The Eis Cafe, some time later. He operated it for almost three years. But his desire to make music would not go away and that is what pushed him into starting Pop Rox. His desire to perform is unquestionable. His feel for songs make him an irreplaceable asset.
   Peter -  musical career began early in his childhood. He has been in several bands such as, DogStar5, Green Machine and Gaftra.  He has done some acting, sung in musicals and picked at the noise from the the computer.  He picked up the bass guitar along the way. He's left handed and when he started playing and decided to play a normal bass guitar but upside down without rearranging the strings.. He met Jonas in early 1998 on the first day of a new job and found out that Jonas was a musician.
   Dave - was the first drummer to ever work on the tunes.  Although he wasn't playing with Pop Rox  intitiallay during the first shows, he's very happy to be back.  He met Jonas at the Eis Cafe when he was working on other projects. He has played with many well known progressive musicians.  His love for drumming is exceptional.
   Darius - has played classical violin most of his life as well as piano and keyboards.  In the early 90's in Eurpoe, he and Jonas were both part of a progressive, new-age rock group called Musmire.
